IRRInet
IRRInet is a computerized irrigation controller designed and manufactured by Motorola. The IRRInet is specifically suited for stand-alone automation.
Features include:
- Valve and pump activation
- Sensor Monitoring - such as flow meters, pressure meters, fertilizer meters and filter flush
- Radio Control of remote valves - utilizing the IMPACT and Scorpio-V2 products
- Central Computer Connection - an option connected by wireline or radio
- Wireline Communications
- 2 wire path
- Telephone - Dry pair
- Radio Communication Options:
- 800 & 900 MHz Trunked including Smartnet and Conventional
- UHF Conventional
- VHF Conventional
Input/Output Module Options:
Up to 3 I/O Modules can be installed in slots 2-4 of the IRRInet.
- AC Mixed I/O Module
- 16 24VAC outputs to field valves and relays with 4 Digital Inputs
- DC Mixed I/O Module
- 16 24VDC latching pulse outputs to two-wire magna-latch solenoids
and relays with 4 Digital Inputs
- Single Cable Module -
Supports two way communications over a two wire path to a Piccolo Remote
Terminal Unit (RTU). There are 63 Piccolo RTU's per Single Cable Module. Each Piccolo includes a solenoid
to switch the hydraulic pressure from the main line to the top of the valve. This is connected by 1/4" tubing.
Two digital inputs included.
